SMS Terms & Privacy
How AGAPE United Home Care collects mobile phone numbers, sends text messages, and protects your opt-in data. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

1. Program description
AGAPE United Home Care, LLC ("AGAPE," "we," "us," or "our") operates a text-message program to communicate with our clients, families, caregivers, applicants, and inquiry contacts. By providing your mobile phone number to AGAPE and opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from us related to:
- Care coordination and scheduling — appointment reminders, shift confirmations, schedule changes, care plan updates, and follow-ups with families.
- Intake and inquiries — responses to questions submitted via our website forms, phone calls, or in-person consultations.
- Caregiver employment — application status, interview scheduling, training reminders, shift offers, payroll notices, and HR communications.
- Operational notices — billing notifications, account updates, service changes, and emergency communications.
This program is operated by AGAPE United Home Care, LLC. Messages are sent through a third-party messaging platform on our behalf; that platform is contractually bound to use your information only to deliver messages and not for any other purpose.
2. How you opt in
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from AGAPE in any of the following ways:
- Submitting a form on this website (e.g., our care consultation, caregiver application, or contact forms) where you provide your mobile number and check or otherwise agree to a consent statement.
- Texting one of our published phone numbers — for example (419) 370-0431 — which establishes a conversation and constitutes consent to reply.
- Providing your mobile number verbally during a phone call with our team and agreeing to receive text messages.
- Signing a service agreement, employment offer, or onboarding form that includes SMS consent language.
Sample opt-in disclosure language used on our forms:
"By providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from AGAPE United Home Care related to your inquiry, care, or employment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. See our SMS Terms & Privacy for full details."
AGAPE will not send SMS messages to any mobile number that has not opted in through one of the methods above.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your relationship with AGAPE:
- Clients and family members — typically 0–10 messages per week related to your loved one's care.
- Caregivers and employees — typically 0–20 messages per week related to scheduling and employment.
- Applicants — typically 0–5 messages per week during your application process.
- General inquiries — typically 0–3 messages per week until your inquiry is resolved.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. AGAPE does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may. Check with your wireless carrier for details on your specific text-messaging plan.
5. HELP — getting help
Reply HELP to any AGAPE SMS message to receive a help response with our contact information. You can also reach us at any time by:

6. STOP — opting out
You can opt out of AGAPE SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message you receive from us.
After you opt out, we will send a one-time confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will not receive further SMS messages from AGAPE unless you re-opt in.
You may also opt out by contacting us by phone or email above. You may re-subscribe at any time by texting START to the same number or by contacting us directly.
7. Privacy of your mobile information
AGAPE United Home Care, LLC does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.
Mobile information collected for the purposes of SMS messaging — including your mobile phone number and the fact that you have opted in — is used solely to operate and deliver the messaging services described in section 1. We do not include your mobile information in any data we make available to advertisers, marketing partners, or analytics providers.
Your mobile information may be shared only with:
- Our messaging service provider(s) — for the sole purpose of delivering the SMS messages you have requested, under contractual privacy and security obligations.
- Government agencies, courts, or law enforcement — if required by law, valid court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AGAPE, our clients, employees, or the public.
SMS opt-in and consent data will never be shared with third parties for any other purpose.
8. Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers — including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and others — are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to network and device availability.
9. Eligible devices and carriers
SMS service is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Compatibility depends on your device, carrier plan, and current network conditions. AGAPE does not guarantee message delivery on every carrier or device.
10. Children
Our SMS program is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect mobile phone numbers from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with a mobile number, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to these terms
AGAPE may update these SMS Terms & Privacy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
